My story of mapping and detailing my dead town

Iβve been mapping my beautiful town for now 1.5 or more years. I discovered OSM through a Polish youtuber talking about motorways, and at first I made some small changes, not knowing what I got myself into. Through the years, Iβve fixed the landuse, updated all of the POIs, kept up with constructions, repairs, etc., and did all sorts of detailing.
Iβve reached a point whereβ¦ I need to move outwards. There is not much left to do except wait for something to close, open or change.
Itβs been a heck of a ride. I would like to give the Polish OSM community a warm thank you for helping me out in sticky situations.

Everybody who praises OSM for having helpful, accessible and detailed geodata is praising mappers like you. Keep on rocking!

The town looks well-mapped. I especially like the walking and cycling paths. Thanks for all your work βΊ
If you donβt want to go further afield, there are probably a few things you can still do locally. Some of the supermarkets donβt have opening hours, for example. And itβs useful if you can tag outdoor fitness stations (such as this one near the river more specifically. See the Key:fitness_station wiki page for details.

Thank you so much ;) And yes, you should start mapping again! Remmeber, every data you add is the better OSM will be. Even if you add something you think is useless, maybe in 10 years someoneβs life could be saved because you changed/added it.
