These updates are great, thanks! The 'on' shouldn't be capitalised though :)
"Bexhill-on-Sea".

Hi Chris,
The road reopened today in both directions, so I've made the necessary changes to the map.
Cheers,
Alex

I agree with you, not sure why user UtterCutter changed to Saint. Having driven this road it is definitely labelled St. Francis Farm. Thanks.

Thanks for updating the dentist closure, you dropped the building tag so I've restored that back. Cheers, Alex

Thanks. A useful bit of history, I recognise Meads name from the Wilton Court Hotel he also funded.

Hey Canalsman, I hope you don't mind but I've changed the following tags:
remove: noexit=yes
add: motor_vehicle=no
add: bicycle=yes
add: foot=yes
add: construction=minor
From what I hear it may reopen in December and close again in January, I'll keep an eye on it.
Cheers, Alex

Heh, sorry I didn't mean to insinuate anything or be so blunt in my question. I have been using the contact prefix for everything in Bexhill and just wondered if I was acting misguided, thanks.

Hi, I am curious - what is wrong with using the 'contact:website' tagging scheme?

Hey Thingummy, the lighthouse base has been completely removed now. What's the best course of action, delete the whole way?

Hi again. This 'shop' is not verifiable by anyone visiting the location.
I know it to be a residential house, not a shop with any publicly accessible premises.
Temporary objects like vehicles should not be mapped either.
Hope that helps.

No problem, I can revert those changes for you.
I think the van can still be seen as advertising as we're only supposed to only map permanent objects.
Cheers.

Hello there. I know this to be a residential property. It is best only map company's that have a publicly visitable address, otherwise it is seen as advertising and should not be included on OSM. Thanks, Alex

No problem! Many such cases... :)

I will amend these so they are entrance nodes as described here - addr:flats=*.
Thanks, Alex

Ah very nice... I did start this, but you must have a more automated way of tagging :)

Just a heads up that Bexhill is (mostly) aligned to OSMUK Cadastral Parcels. Bing is slightly unaligned here.

FYI the name St. Andrews Place is already tagged as the addr:housename. I've added the tags "amenity:1900-2011=place_of_worship" and "building:1900-2011=church" for better clarity.

Thanks! If you know any other postcodes feel free to add them :)

Thanks. Sometimes JOSM doesn't flag these geometry issues. Is there a tool I can use to check for intersecting ways?

Thanks for adding those missing houses. I have learnt the road is called is called 'Rohan Ascent', would you happen to know why?
