24 days ago | Hi again. Just to let you know I've reverted the changeset and added the 'access=no' tag. It needed to be done quickly as this can affect routing for some users. For future reference, deleting highways isn't a good idea unless they actually don't exist. Try adding 'access=no' and see if it helps, but add other tags to allow the correct traffic types to use it. Thanks for chatting about this.

28 days ago | Hi. I'm not sure why van drivers are using this. I'm no expert, but I believe that in theory, I don't think routers for motor vehicles should be using anything marked as highway=bridleway, so it sounds like this is a problem with the routing software used by the van drivers, or possibly the van drivers have their software set up incorrectly, perhaps? The only other suggestion I have would be based on the second paragraph on this page: access=* which suggests that you could add access=no to this way, then also make sure that all permitted types of traffic (e.g. foot, bicycle, horse) are specified to override the blanket 'no' permission. Thankfully those were already set on this way, so in this specific case, once reverted, you could simply add 'access=no' and I think that should cover it. Hope that helps. :-)
| 177246521 | 29 days ago | Hi Wadie Chelly. I appreciate your comment on this changeset and reasons for deleting, but just deleting a way isn't the answer to stop this happening. Unless I'm mistaken, the way you deleted was marked as a public right of way (bicycle=yes,

4 months ago | Ah that's great. Hope you didn't mind me checking as I'm local and hadn't heard of it. And in the past I've accidentally pasted tags before without realising. Thanks for the quick reply!
4 months ago | Hi zaax. I know this is a really old changeset, but just wondering why you named the field 'Scotland'. I'm only asking in case it's a mistake. Many thanks. ๐
6 months ago | Haha. I'm forever doing typos and having to go back later to correct them,๐and yes the url doesn't help. lol. Keep up the good work!
6 months ago | Nice work. Well spotted. Did you perhaps mean Hotel instead of Horel? ๐Actually just noticed that the signage and website calls it "B&B Hotels" rather than "Hotel B&B". https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=52.052323748350375&lng=1.1397012249150293&z=17&dateFrom=2025-07-01&pKey=1297141558793715&focus=photo&x=0.6806568500520762&y=0.4137129472911903&zoom=0.9797225186766276

| 169863069 | 6 months ago | You're welcome! We're all still learning. Thanks for the reply and for taking the suggestion onboard. Regarding the question of showing they're the same unit, I'm not totally sure. If I'm not totally sure how best to map something, I sometimes try to find other local (or not so local), similar examples and see how they've been mapped.

| 169863069 | 6 months ago | Hi EA-payphones! Excellent work spotting this and adding it. Just thought you might like to know that there's actually a specific tag for describing the exact location of a defibrillator. It's 'defibrillator:location'. The information you added to the 'note' tag would perhaps be best added to a 'defibrillator:location' tag instead. :-) More information about other useful tags for AEDs can be found here: emergency=defibrillator?uselang=en-GB

7 months ago | Thanks for your reply and for taking my suggestion onboard. I only discovered it myself a little while ago but thought it worth mentioning. That's a good question about the parking. I'm really not sure what to suggest. I haven't come across this exact situation before and I don't often map parking restrictions. This page might help, but it's mostly talking about more complex cases. I haven't had a chance to look through the entire page. Feel free to take a look and see what you think. osm.wiki/Street_parking#Parking_restrictions:_common_signs But either way, thanks and keep up the great work!
7 months ago | Hi! Nice work. Just a little note. The wiki regarding the definition (in OSM terms) and use of service=driveway ( service=driveway ) defines it as "a minor service road leading to a specific property". I'm not familiar with this little road in Needham Market, but it looks like it might lead to multiple properties. Would you happen to know? I totally understand your reasons for adding this tag, and I know the term driveway gets used a lot in England and has various meanings, but in OSM terms it seems this tag is for driveways leading to a single property. Just wondering if it might be better to just leave it as 'highway=service' and remove the driveway tag. What do you think?
8 months ago | Apologies for the large bbox. I don't control where the different features are selected on Pic4Review. I only noticed once I see the finished changeset.
9 months ago | Hi murble! Just a very quick question about the "first aid kit" you mapped. Is there a chance you mean the red box on the wall? If so, it's a bleed control kit and has already been mapped here. node/12120852930 If it's something different, please disregard this! :-)
11 months ago | :-D Haha yes it's easily done. Thought I'd check, as sometimes Ipswich house numbering can be a little strange!
11 months ago | Nice work here BarryMiles! Just wondering if there's a chance 2 & 4 Shelly Street are perhaps the wrong way round?
about 1 year ago | Just to confirm I have updated the ref and included an "image" tag too.
