HI,
JOSM would have given you a warning about way/1476332380. That has something you should fix...
See https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=151.56015&lat=-32.75023&zoom=19&baselayer=Geofabrik%20Standard&overlays=duplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways%2Cduplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways

HI,
There is an error in Alpine National Park relation/2248617 - not closed.

That should be "I thought you were adding parks rather than adding a tag to existing parks? " :doh!

178128341 4 days ago

Sorry. I thought you were adding parks rather than adding a tap to existing parks?
In this changeset you're adding a new park ...

The email needs to be copied so anyone can see it and if necessary verify it.
.. and it should be done in the data sources page? osm.wiki/Potential_datasources
I wonder where the boundaries for this new park come from? Do the pota have the rights to the data such that they can pass the data on??? Have to read their email...

HI
Multipolygon outer ways cannot share segments. So the relation has been deleted.

The 3 buildings are now tagged building:part=yes
A new way mapping the 3 buildings foot print has been created with the Sargood Centre tags.

Source - should add LINZ Imagery for area.

Where I got the boundary from this time? From the past chageset that entered the data .. and that got it from DCS (except it was some other name back then) data base down load. Back then a number of use got all the National Parks, State Forests and other things and got them into OSM. This is less work and less prone to error than tracing them out from the Base Map.
Form Imagery I prefer the DCS Imagery - more locationally accurate than Bing. And for more upto date Imagery Esri.

I have not checked the boundary lately.

Hi,
Comment? It looks to me like your trying to replace tree relations with tree ways.

In this changeset relation/19329027 is some 243 km north to south while you r new way1412902847 is 3 km north to south and is almost fully contained in the relation.

I have restored the relation to a fully closed outer and deleted your way.

Hi,
Multipoygon relation/16692138 track is not correct!
Rule 1: outer ways cannot share segments.
Secondly .. what is being mapped and an 'outer' - the outside of the track and an 'inner' the inside of the track. It should be 2 ways - not toughing the outside should have the role 'outer' and the inside way should have the role 'inner'.
More? Read osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon

A simpler method is the have a single way - this does not map the track width.

Oh .. link to Aust Data Sources page
osm.wiki/Australian_Data_Sources#Victoria

And 'Parks on hteAir' looks to be copyright - bottom of their pages
They state "We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone."

178128341 7 days ago

I don't see this on the Aust Data Soces page ... so is this a copyright breach???

You can view any ones edits and what they report as the source or sources...

eg
@Natiso/history#map=9/-32.844/151.627&layers=Y

@Warin61/history#map=6/-38.12/161.24&layers=Y

You have to click through to each changeset to check the source. In NSW I use the DCS Base Map, DCS Imagery, DCS is good for location accuracy .. Esri Imagery too, this is more upto date but can be offset location wise.

You can do with a little help?

Multipolygon relations are about the hardest thing. Some boundaries can be seen in the DCS Base Map. Most (all?) have been entered using downloaded data. Your best leaving these alone though some accidents do happen (humans do this).
If you have questions .. ask. The answers may not happen fast but they will come.

Oh I spotted some track tht you had entered .. is t was close to making a connection to another track but missed. I connected it . While these look fine on a map routers will see the gap and not route across it. If I see it again I'll let you know so you can see it for yourself..
