those were real addresses assigned by the county. why delete them?

this is the high point of the county, but i don't think it's actually named as such; is it named on a map you were referencing? i would not call it a peak, either, it's just a spot that's a little higher than what's around it.

do these power lines actually have real names? where is this information coming from?

hi there! while i do not disagree with your change, please note that "unclassified" has a very distinct meaning in OSM highway tagging, it is not an "unidentified" road type.

well, you've got your work cut out for you. the naperville area is full of "amateur" instersections like this.

Hi there! having the traffic signal points at the stop line for each road is a valid, and more detailed, way of mapping an intersection. what's the reason for collapsing them into a single node?

lol, I sincerely hope you're right. Not a golfer, so I'm extremely unlikely to verify this with an in-person survey anytime soon. It would be really odd to request these addresses and not post them somewhere, though.

Quick search turned up their course tour: https://foxbendgolfcourse.com/course-tour/

Looks like there's some kind of sign post at the tee. Maybe it's posted there?

Believe it or not, yes!

When the golf course was established, it was requested that address points be assigned to each hole of the course. The thinking is that if someone calls for emergency services from the course, having some specific information of where *in* the course would be critical in getting responders to the precise location. Kind of a weird use for "unit", but that's how they were assigned.

Now, why they didn't align the unit number with the hole, I have no idea.

hey there! thanks for adding local info to the map!
just FYI: in OSM, we spell out all parts of a roadway, like "Lane". happy mapping!

are we sure these shouldn't be `ref` tags, not names? they feel very ref-y

Actually, the trail came from a GPX trace recorded by Village of Minooka Public Works. It does seem that the GPX wasn't properly validated/cleaned before being used, though. But we do have access to high-resolution leaf-off imagery that clearly shows paths in this area. Some look pretty informal, but they're there.

a number of these buildings were already in the map. please be a little more careful so you don't duplicate features that already exist
