3 days ago | Hola Santiago.
17 days ago | Hi. Please do not blindly follow iD suggestions. All those schools should be tagged operator:type=public, not government.
18 days ago | I agree that it may seem logical, and even safer, if it were set that way, but the problem is that it does not reflect real-world conditions. These kinds of inconsistencies should first be addressed by local authorities by establishing the appropriate restrictions, and only then should they be added to the map. In many places, you simply cannot assume that authorities have made a good or logical choice. Just a few days ago, I reached an intersection with a traffic_calming=bump where the highway=stop sign was placed on the road I was about to cross...
21 days ago | Hi. On what basis did you made this change? Mapillary imagery in Aug. 2025 show no evidence of oneway signals.
21 days ago | OK. Here an open gate does not imply that. Almost all private plots should be tagged with access=private with a few exceptions where customers need to access the premises like some hotels or restaurants.
22 days ago | Hi. On what basis did you add access=permissive to a lot of gates in this and other changesets lately?
23 days ago | The problem with adding that label is that it applies to any motor vehicle, but in practice the reality is more restrictive. See access=* Obviously motorcar=yes and goods=yes would be OK to add without doubt, also single tracked vehicles, but e.g. hgv are explicitly forbidden.

24 days ago | Hi. This is a pedestrianized street, not a service road.
24 days ago | Hola.
29 days ago | Another problem is that if you delete nodes the history of the data is not lost but preety much hard to find. My advice to solve both problems, or at least what i try to do when editing in this kind of cases, is to put the old POI node as "entrance=main", and moving the rest of the data to the way.
29 days ago | Hi. There is a small problem that is (or can be) introduced when changing an element which is mapped as a node, and transform to an area, which is when some user in a mapping app ask to do to e.g. an hospital, when the POI is a node, that's ok, but when the POI is a area, you should also map entrances, so the app can find the right coordinates and route the user to the right place. In small places the problem is not much visible, but as the size of the POI gets bigger it becomes a problem.
29 days ago | Sure, thanks. Aerial imagery was misleading in this case. Please check street level imagery, as this is clearly a pedestrian way. Vehicles are allowed, but it is a pedestrian road (was pedestrianized a few years ago)
29 days ago | Is seems you are following iD suggestions blindly. Please don't follow them if you are not sure. The operator:type should be "public" according to the wiki description of the tag.
29 days ago | Hola.
