Dear patrickbootscec,

you have repeatedly renamed Storrs to Storrs-Mansfiled, claiming that this was in line with OSM policies. When you were challenged on that, you doubled down.

As a general rule, if you read the wiki and based on your interpretation you believe that thousands of objects need to be changed, it is always a good idea to discuss this with the community first. This is doubly true if someone tells you your edit is a bad idea - don’t simply repeat the edit, but present your case to the community (in this case, the US forum at community.openstreetmap.org).

Please take a deep breath, stop trying to force through your edit, and raise the matter with the community. If they agree, the edit can be made.
