Fixing up our town!

Welcome to OSM!

I’m not sure how long I’ll stick around, but I’m already at the max contribution…

I wouldn’t worry about that too much, the new account rate limit goes up very rapidly, after a few days you’ll have to really try to actually hit it.

You ask ChatGPT to generate a response, but subsequently you do not take any actions.

I have hidden your latest diary entry. Please ensure the next one is set to Bengali properly.

Also please make sure to respond to the changeset comments left behind on your changesets.

Hi,

I find the way you keep talking about this one shopping centre to be quite suspicious. Given your account name, profile description, the fact that you’ve created 21 diary entries and that each and every one of them mentions this ‘ Naga Bazar’, and how you seem to be linking everything you’ve added to the map to this shopping centre (See my comments at [1] [2] [3] [4]) I am suspecting you have some sort of financial or personal interest in promoting it.

Either way, this spam has to stop and you need to fix your edits.

Please respond to the changesets I linked above or your edits might need to be removed entirely.

Best regards, Taya Snijder, On behalf of the OSMF Data Working Group

Hello NagaBazar,

I think you might be misunderstanding the purpose of user diaries. Please have a look at osm.org/diary and see what types of diaries other people write. They’re intended to be more like blog posts, or maybe an occasional news post. Something that is relevant to the rest of the OSM community.

You don’t need to write a new diary for every single edit you perform. In fact I’d recommend you didn’t. More than a few people likely already see this as spam.

Best regards,
Taya Snijder

Taya Snijder

On Tour in the Netherlands

Welcome to the Netherlands! I hope you and your band enjoy your time here!

Even though I was told by our sound engineer that some of it is made of plastic. Disgusting.

So this is how I learn that’s apparently a thing. As far as I’m aware it’s not a super common at least. Or at least not where I live as far as I’m aware. Plastic can’t replace a good weathered looking thatched roof.

From what I could see, there was a huge import of buildings (only the larger ones, no sheds or garages) with their addresses and start date in 2014

That data is actually still continuously being imported. New houses still get imported. But as you pointed out, the data on sheds, static caravans, and other such objects can be a bit lacking. Interestingly enough, it does have pretty good data on static boats

Looking at https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-notes-info?uid=21298784 and considering you have zero edits it seems like you’re just randomly closing notes instead of fixing the issues mentioned in the notes.

responses like these osm.org/note/4191275 osm.org/note/4194154 osm.org/note/4188292 are in no way useful nor do they improve the map.
